You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Providing the financial and tax accounting function in Polish entities within the Ignitis group
- Comprehensive keeping of accounting books
- Responsibility for financial documents workflow and maintaining an archive of these documents
- Ensuring compliance with local legislation, International Accounting Standards, and Group policies for financial and tax accounting of Polish companies
- Participating in the Accounting software implementation project
- Liaising with audit, internal, tax and other controls as well as preparing data, information and explanations for the purposes of such audits or controls
- Conducting control procedures on accounting records
- Preparing the company's Financial Statements, Group's Reporting Package and other additional management information
- Calculating and declaring taxes.
Required for this position
- Higher degree in Finance, Economics, or similar field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- English and Polish languages skills (both verbal & written)
- Proficient user of MS Office programs
- Analytical skills
- Result-oriented, responsible, proactive and willing to improve.
