We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Engineering department of the Ignitis Renewables team. In this role, you will provide electrical engineering support for our existing and developing solar and wind projects. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Analyzing and drawing electrical diagrams, and preparing site plans with electrical devices
- Preparing grid connection conditions applications with all necessary documents and analyzing grid connection conditions, considering Polish laws and Polish regulations
- Assisting in preparing design tasks and main technical requirements for owner’s equipment and systems
- Supporting the review of technical specifications, design solutions, and equipment offered by contractors
- Reviewing factory drawings, documentation, testing procedures, detailed design drawings, and schematics
- Participating and supporting factory acceptance tests, installation, pre-commissioning, site acceptance tests, and grid code acceptance tests
- Reviewing as-built documentation, including test reports, operation instructions, and manuals.
Required for this position:
- Have a BSc / BEng degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering
- At least some experience in electrical engineering
- Basic experience with the grid connection conditions issuance process
- Some experience in AutoCAD using
- Knowledge of English language (oral and written communication) and fluent in Polish.
Would be an advantage:
- Knowledge and basic experience with RES (wind, BESS, PV)
- Knowledge and basic experience in the grid connection conditions issuance process
- Some knowledge of MV & HV equipment configuration, hybrid connections, equipment communication issues, O&M support, and technical-legal issue resolution (not mandatory but beneficial).
