We are currently seeking a team member to join our Ignitis Renewables team as Offshore Construction Package Manager for our offshore wind project. This role is essential in ensuring that the wind farm’s infrastructure, including wind turbines, foundations, cables, OSS and associated electrical systems, is installed efficiently and safely in the offshore locations. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Managing offshore construction activities and resolving project installation and operational issues with the team
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to HSSE standards during construction and ensure that all project activities comply with all relevant environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Building and leading a skilled construction team to execute project tasks efficiently and safely
  • Participating in tender process for ensuring compliancy with offshore site requirements
  • Ensuring preparation of overall offshore installation program and sequence in accordance with the project plan
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and safety at the construction site
  • Identifying potential risks associated with the project, such as adverse weather conditions, equipment failures, or environmental concerns. Developing and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Selecting location and setup for construction Marine Coordination Center, offshore site incl. demarcation & wave rider buoys
  • Ensuring development of a system for handover of the overall offshore construction assets for safe transfer to Commissioning and O&M.

Required for this position:

  • Possess a Bachelor or higher degree in engineering
  • Have at least 8 years of professional experience within construction management, with a minimum of 5 years within large scale offshore wind farm projects
  • Are experienced professional who has successfully managed multi-disciplinary teams cross-disciplinary and delivered projects in full compliance with international regulations and to the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental management
  • Demonstrate high level of understanding of common technical, commercial and stakeholder risk
  • Are a highly motivated individual with a proactive and result-orientated approach. You have a strong personal drive, a pragmatic and fact focused attitude and approach, and a robust sense of quality and professionalism
  • Have the flexibility and willingness to travel both during project development and execution phases between the Baltic region and other EU locations.
