We are looking for a colleague who would join our Ignitis Renewables team and support the Land Substation (LSS) package in all civil/structural design, certification, and procurement activities for an offshore wind project in the Lithuanian Baltic Sea. This position will manage the technical aspects of design phases from concept to detailed design, supervise consultancy services, and manage interfaces with other project technical/engineering experts. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Providing technical expertise throughout the LSS tender, design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning process, adhering to quality standards and local regulations
  • Managing the civil/structural design and implementation process of onshore substation activities, collaborating closely with the LSS Package Manager and related teams
  • Serving as the main technical point of contact for civil/structural activities within the Transmission Team for all the technical interfaces with designers and contractors
  • Participating in certification and regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with local and international standards
  • Promoting and enforce HSSE practices to meet Ignitis and local requirements
  • Providing budget-relevant information and explore cost reduction measures
  • Identifying and report risks, determine mitigation actions.

Required for this position:

  • University degree (in structural or civil engineering)
  • Proven experience in Land Substation civil/construction part design (in combination of the construction of offshore wind farms would be an advantage)
  • Familiarity with relevant (especially national) industry standards, regulations and design requirements to ensure compliance with LSS and foundation engineering practice and related safety regulations
  • Strong understanding of the technical and organizational processes for large infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
  • Experience in leading and working with multi-disciplinary and intercultural project teams
  • Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English language skills.

Salary range for this position group is 3436 to 5155 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
