We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Legal Team of the Ignitis Renewables Estonia, where you’ll take care of managing corporate legal matters, supporting M&A projects, and handling commercial agreements. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!
You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Corporate housekeeping of SPVs in Estonia (both offshore and onshore, approx. 17 SPVs currently, both solely owned and in partnerships): share registers, formation of governing bodies, preparation of materials for the governing bodies, acting as corporate secretary, amendments to the articles of association, statutory fillings with companies register, etc.
- Assisting in M&A/JV (solar and wind) projects: coordination of internal and external legal stream work
- Drafting and reviewing of commercial agreements (including service agreements, supply agreements, land lease agreements)
- Liaising with legal advisors, regulators, management and other stakeholders on corporate legal matters.
Required for this position:
- Master’s degree in law
- 3 years of experience in legal field, preferably in corporate area
- Experience in energy sector would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Estonian and English languages
- Strong interpersonal skills and focus on assisting internal client, i.e., business team
- Ability to multi-task, work in a team and independently, prioritize and effectively manage key stakeholder expectations.
