We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Commercial Department of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be helping us to take care of creation, implementation and maintenance of Insurance strategy for on-shore and off-shore projects. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Preparing an insurance strategy for onshore and offshore renewables projects
  • Tendering offshore project brokerage service
  • Ensuring that all renewables projects are insured properly through different development phase i.e. within the ranges of insurance strategy and principles
  • Managing claim reporting and settlement process in order to ensure the best weighted outcome for Ignitis Renewables, considering other variables such as business relationship with partners, project penetration insurance deals, etc.
  • Contributing to a project financing process including tendering Lender advisors, supervising due diligence, aligning insurance requirements and compliance to finance documents
  • Maintaining a close dialogue with other departments in order to ensure that the best-in-class service and comprehensive insurance is covered for stakeholders.

Required for this position

  • Master's degree in the field of economics, business administration or law
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance company or broker firms. Experience with renewable project insurance specifics is advantageous
  • Awareness of Baltics and Poland insurance and brokerage market. Familiarity with European insurance and brokerage market is welcomed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent proficiency in English and Lithuanian languages
  • Outstanding critical thinking, decision-making and collaboration skills
  • Extensive understanding of business practices and risks, and innovative thinking to develop the best recommendations.

Salary range for this position group is 3812 to 5718 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
