We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Renewables Latvia Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be taking care of construction site management at a project site (location to be confirmed). If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Based at site: ensuring that renewable energy construction scope, schedule, budget performance, quality requirements and safety requirements are met
- Supervising owners engineers and technical supervision services
- Collaborating with project stakeholders such as owners, utilities, landowners, municipalities, developers, consultants, contractors, and other project partners
- Assessing cost performance for the construction and take corrective actions to meet plan objectives
- Providing constructability performance reviews including risk analysis, suggestions, and input to ensure successful project execution
- Monitoring safety meetings, inspect the site for unsafe conditions and practice and take appropriate corrective action to correct all observed problems
- Ensuring that inspection and testing during assembly and commissioning are conducted, checked, approved and documented as prescribed in the field quality plans.
Required for this position
- Education in engineering field
- 5 years of site management experience in large scale Solar projects
- Knowledge of contracts, plans, schedules, specifications, codes, design/build contracts, and construction means and methods
- Knowledge of construction law in practice and generally accepted business practices
- Knowledge of project controls concepts, practices and procedures, specifically project schedules, work breakdown structure, and budgets
- Proficiency in Latvian and English (oral and written) as this role involves regular communication with international colleagues and partners;
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions
- Ability to work on fast paced complex projects.
