We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Electrical Engineering Team of the Ignitis Renewables, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring optimal electrical system design, managing grid connection processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive project success. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Taking responsibility for electrical system design including grid connection requirements, liaising with other project activities
  • Providing technical assistance during project development and ensure the factors influencing and influenced by the grid connection are considered
  • Maintaining relationships with HV/MV contractors and EPCs to drive performance and ensure they deliver their services to all applicable standards
  • Reviewing single line diagrams to ensure optimal system design and compliance with Grid Connection conditions
  • Participating in meetings and lead negotiations with TSO to provide updates on progress and address challenges
  • Consulting O&M team on technological issues, possible improvements, integrations, and other upgrades.

Required for this position

  • University degree in electrical engineering
  • 5 years of engineering experience in power plants and/or interconnection projects to the TSO Grid
  • Good knowledge of the 110 kV and above HV transmission system including relevant legislation and standards
  • High technical knowledge of HV power transmission network components
  • Result-oriented mindset, ability to analyse and summarize complex development topics and aggregate decision-relevant information to convey messages clearly and concisely
  • English language (oral and written communication)
  • Experienced operation and maintenance or special construction works engineers are welcome to apply as well.

Salary range for this position group is 2816 to 4224 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
