We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the O&M Department of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance of electrical equipment in our wind parks, PV parks, and BESS. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Managing the maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment in wind parks, PV parks, and BESS, ensuring compliance with standards and safety
- Managing the maintenance and repair of medium, high voltage distribution, transmission systems ensuring compliance with standards and safety
- Preparing technical specifications and ensuring design documentation meets all codes and standards. Inspecting contractor and teamwork for compliance
- Creating work manuals and procedures with Maintenance, HSE, and O&M teams.
- Supervising daily operations of maintenance teams and contractors, supporting plant commissioning, and reviewing test procedures and reports
- Adhering to Quality and HSE rules, managing the Permit to Work system, and prioritizing safe working conditions
- Monitoring and improving service quality and process performance, managing spare parts, and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance.
Required for this position
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design, testing, planning, or maintenance of power plants or electrical substations
- Certification for electrical energy workers, category AK for operation and/or management
- Proactiveness and strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and proactive maintenance optimization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Understanding of safety, technical regulations, and best practices for electrical systems, particularly in wind, solar, or BESS facilities.
Would be an advantage:
- Experience in renewables (onshore or offshore wind engineering, PV solar engineering, energy storage)
- Understanding of safety, technical regulations, and best practices for electrical systems, particularly in wind, solar, or BESS facilities
- Any other certificates allowing to work in the electricity system according to the requirements of the energy regulator
- Experience in working with electricity transmission or distribution network (installation, maintenance or operational management).
