We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and manage our portfolio of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Poland. This is a unique opportunity to oversee projects from greenfield development and acquisition to successful implementation, while ensuring optimal economic, legal, and technical feasibility.

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Leading and managing a diverse portfolio of BESS projects, including greenfield developments, acquisitions, and implementation phases.
- Supervising and evaluating the economic, legal, and technical aspects of BESS projects to ensure all value streams (e.g., capacity market, arbitrage, FCR/FRR, and others) deliver profitability.
- Working closely with central business development, project finance, and financial modeling teams to assess and optimize BESS project performance.
- Staying ahead of global technological advancements and trends in the BESS market to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into projects.
- Assisting with securing project financing both before and after the commercial operation date (COD), ensuring the financial health and success of projects.
- Collaborate with development, construction, and operations & maintenance (O&M) teams to drive project excellence.
- Develop and implement best practices and tools to enhance project execution and management efficiency.
Required for this position
- University degree in electrical engineering, economics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of project management experience in the energy sector, including a minimum of 2 years specifically in BESS project development in Poland
- Proven knowledge of European and Polish energy laws, balancing and capacity market regulations, and energy market economics
- Strong ability to model complex energy project business cases and navigate challenges in renewable energy projects
- Skilled at engaging with diverse stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority, with a collaborative, innovative, and creative mindset
- Fluent in Polish and English.
